Dr Darcy Holt

Dr Darcy Holt has been working with Dr Glenda Hartley from consulting rooms at John Fawkner Private Hospital, recently devoting more time to this role. He seeks to provide timely, expert, professional and friendly attention to patients.

Darcy graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2001, and has since worked at a number of Melbourne hospitals. He has particular clinical interests in nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease.

Darcy has a public appointment at Monash Health with the Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism Unit and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit. He regularly attends inflammatory bowel disease clinics and supervises endoscopy training of registrars.

Darcy enjoys clinical research and teaching and has a PhD from Monash University in the area of Crohn’s disease. He continues to participate in research and peer review of journal papers. He speaks bad Italian; enough to break the ice.

Darcy has expertise in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, pancreatic and liver diseases, and provision of endoscopy at John Fawkner Private Hospital, where he has admitting rights.
