Dr David Burnett is a laparoscopic, liver and pancreatic surgeon based at John Hunter Hospital. For the last 3 years after becoming a general surgeon he has undergone additional advanced training with some of the best surgeons in Melbourne and Sydney, through the ANZHPA training programme. He graduated from this programme first in Australasia with the Robert Padbury medal.
