Dr David Eckerman

Dr David Eckerman is a Senior Rehabilitation Physician specialising in neurological rehabilitation, spinal medicine, brain injury rehabilitation, geriatric and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

He has a particular interest in spasticity/ dystonia management, botulinum toxin therapeutic use, stroke rehabilitation and neuro degenerative diseases, as well as movement disorder rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation in chronic pain.

Dr David Eckerman is currently working at Peninsula Private Hospital as Director of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has been working in QLD for the last 12 years after training in Sydney. Dr Eckerman is fully fluent in Spanish.

Rehabilitation Medicine is the area of medicine that deals with the diagnosis, assessment and management of an individual with a disability due to illness, injury and/or post-surgery.
