Dr David Kowalski

Dr David Kowalski is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at the Prince of Wales Private Hospital, with a particular interest in the management of endometriosis.

Dr Kowalski graduated from the University of Sydney in 1991 and has been a qualified obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2005. His training included a lengthy fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery in addition to five years of instruction as a general surgeon.

He has published and presented numerous papers in his field and currently holds academic posts, as Senior Clinical Lecturer with the Universities of Sydney and Western Sydney. Outside medicine Dr Kowalski is a published novelist. His first book was nominated for numerous awards including the prestigious Golden Aurealis Award for best speculative fiction in 2007 and an award for best science fiction novel in the same year.
