Dr David Tong is a General and Interventional Cardiologist who has an interest in managing cardiac patients with complex medical conditions. He consults and performs procedures at Knox Private Hospital, and also holds a public appointment at Eastern Health.

Dr David Tong:
obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2007.
completed cardiology specialist training and PhD, he undertook a postdoctoral interventional fellowship at the prestigious Freeman Hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England and worked alongside with many distinguished cardiologists who specialised in performing complex coronary angioplasties.
combines research with clinical care and teaching. His research work has been featured in many reputable peer-reviewed journals.
is also actively involved in junior medical staff education and training programs, and believes passionately in giving back and making a difference.
