Dr Dinesh Patel

Dinesh is a Consultant Urologist at Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Randwick. He completed his training in Urology at Prince of Wales Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney and also undertook a year of full-time research in the molecular biology of prostate cancer.

Since commencing  practice in 2001, Dinesh has had extensive experience in the minimally invasive treatment of urinary tract calculi, including laser treatment of upper tract stones. He has performed shockwave stone treatment (ESWL) on over one thousand individuals. In addition to his expertise in stone management, he also has a strong interest in the treatment of prostate cancer and other urological malignancies, and the investigation of male infertility.

As an expert in adult urological conditions, he can provide a wide range of services for your patients, such as prostate biopsy, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal and assessment of lower urinary tract symptoms. Dinesh ensures a caring, ethical and expert approach for you and your patients.
