Dr Dinesh Patel is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in the management of adult urinary tract conditions. He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000. He is a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Patel has been in specialist practice for over 25 years and has achieved extensive experience and expertise in performing urological surgical procedures, including major cancer surgery. His main areas of interest are the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, male urinary problems and kidney stones. However, he also looks after many individuals with other urological conditions including kidney and bladder cancer, urinary difficulties and urinary tract infections.
Dr Patel is Department Head of Urology at Canterbury Hospital and is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Bankstown Hospital and the NSW Stone Treatment Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital. He also operates at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital and various private hospitals around Sydney.
He holds a Senior Lecturer appointment at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.
