Training - MBBS - University of Adelaide 2013. Further studies in the areas of public health (MPH), surgical sciences (MSc) and surgical anatomy (PGDipSurgAnat) as a junior doctor.

Surgical training at Western Health in Victoria with regional rotations across Victoria and in Tasmania and Northern Territory. Received FRACS in General Surgery in 2022

Further training with a general and emergency surgery fellowship at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Worked with the visiting thoracic surgery services at the RDH for 3 years prior to completing a fellowship year at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the area of Thoracic Surgery - exposure to a high volume of thoracic surgical oncological procedures by VATS approach - lung cancer, resection of thymus/ mediastinal tumours, resection of malignant chest wall lesions. Also experience with VATS pleural/ lung and mediastinal biopsy, pleurodesis and decortication for empyema.
