Dr Donald Cawthorne

Dr Cawthorne completed both undergraduate and post-graduate training in Sydney, undertaking his medical degree at the University of Sydney. During his training, Dr Cawthorne worked at several level 1 trauma hospitals across Sydney, and in addition completed 18 months of elective orthopaedic experience, with a focus on Hip and Knee Surgery In 2018, Dr Cawthorne was selected to undertake 6 months of specialty surgical training in the United States, at Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland, Oregon.

On completion of his Orthopaedic training Dr Cawthorne undertook further sub-specialty training by completing an Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited fellowship in Lower Limb surgery with a focus on Robotic Joint Replacement.

Dr Cawthorne has also authored and contributed to several research papers published in surgical journals and presented at State, National and International conferences. Including at the Australian Annual Scientific Meeting and the World Congress of Physical Therapy in Singapore.
