Dr Abhijeet Ghoshal

Dr Abhijeet Ghoshal is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on spinal conditions. He has completed his specialist training in 2019, and has since gained extensive experience in the field. Dr Ghoshal has a special interest in degenerative disorders and infection of the spine, as well as spinal trauma. He is also experienced in navigation assisted spine surgery.

Dr Ghoshal is fluent in English and Bengali, allowing him to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds. He is a 'no gap' provider for all health funds, ensuring accessibility to his expertise for patients.

Dr Ghoshal's qualifications include a FRACS in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, as well as an MBBS and BMedSci. He has been recognized with several awards for his contributions to the field, including the publication of book chapters and research papers on topics including biomechanics of the lumbar spine and clinical tests for cartilage changes.
