Dr Anil Reddy

Dr Anil Reddy is a senior specialist Psychiatrist with 20 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry. He currently works as a consultant Psychiatrist at the Royal Hobart Hospital and St Helens Private Hospital. Dr Reddy has extensive experience in general adult Psychiatry having worked in three different continents including, India, British Caribbean and Australia. Dr Reddy’s expertise includes treatment of wide range of conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, major depressive disorders and personality disorders.

His special areas of interest and expertise is in treatment of complex mental disorders including, treatment resistant depression and schizophrenia. Treatments include psycho pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches such as Trans Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) / Neuro Stimulation. Dr Reddy is also involved in teaching UTAS Medical students and is an accredited supervisor for Registrars who are part of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
