Dr Benjamin Ho

Dr Benjamin Ho is an Australian-trained Neurosurgeon with a strong commitment to delivering expert, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and brings extensive experience from leading medical centres across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Dr Ho completed a prestigious subspecialty fellowship in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital. During this time, he trained under internationally renowned neurosurgeon Professor Chris Honey, focusing on advanced procedures such as deep brain stimulation and the surgical treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia.

He holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Melbourne and a Medical Degree (MBBS) from the University of Sydney. Currently, Dr Ho consults at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Hospital, where he treats a wide range of conditions including brain tumours, pituitary disorders, and complex spinal issues.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Ho is actively involved in research and medical education. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and regularly teaches medical students and junior doctors, helping to train the next generation of neurosurgeons.

Dr Ho has also contributed to the broader neurosurgical community through his work on the Surgical Education and Training Board of Neurosurgery, and as a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Robotic Committee, where he supports the advancement of robotic-assisted surgery.
