Mr Brett Bairstow is an established, local orthopaedic surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Australia in 1993.
Mr Bairstow then commenced specialist orthopaedic and trauma training in the Western Australian Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS)/Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) training program achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002.
Mr Bairstow completed additional post-FRACS fellowship training in arthroplasty and sports surgery at SportsMed, South Australia and in lower limb arthroplasty (joint replacement) at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, United Kingdom.
Mr Bairstow sub-specialises in hip and knee replacement and knee arthroscopic/sports surgery including anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Mr Bairstow’s special interest is in preoperative planning including simulation of lower limb joint replacements.
