Dr Dean Al-Hajjiri

Dr Noureddin “Dean” Al-Hajjiri is a consultant Gastroenterologist practicing in Hobart. He completed his specialty training in NSW in 2017. He has expertise and interests in all areas of gastroenterology with special interests in high quality gastroscopy and colonoscopy, bowel cancer screening, complex polyp resection, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal bleeding and reflux.

Dean also has a staff specialist appointment at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Dean is always happy to take calls from referring practitioners about prospective patients and is dedicated to high quality and timely reviews.

Dean is also fluent in Arabic and basic German. Outside of medical practice he enjoys playing guitar, exploring the beautiful Tasmanian landscape and food scene.
