Dr Faizur Reza

Dr Faizur Reza is a General Surgeon based in Sydney. He completed extensive training in General Surgery through Westmead Hospital. Subsequently, two years of fellowship in General Surgery at Auburn Hospital, Sydney. He also completed one year of clinical research fellowship in Colorectal Surgery in the Colorectal Unit, Westmead Hospital and has been closely working with Senior Colorectal Surgeons in the Western Sydney Area Health Service. He also provides emergency surgical care in the towns of Central West NSW.

He has experience in most areas of general surgery (excluding breast & endocrine), this includes gallbladder disease, simple and complex hernias, lower GI conditions and perianal diseases. He is accredited with the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and performs adult Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy.

Dr Reza is dedicated to providing high-quality surgery in a safe and respectful environment. He believes in effective communication and compassionate patient care. He has a passion for teaching medical students and junior doctors and was appointed as an adjunct Senior Lecturer with the University of Notre Dame, Sydney.

His non-medical interest includes spending time with family, music, guitar, photography, soccer, charity and community work.
