Dr Gordon is a specialist in Transthoracic, Exercise Stress and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography. He currently works in the echo laboratories at Epworth Eastern and Knox Private Hospitals and has directed the echocardiography laboratories in both Auckland and Box Hill hospitals. In addition since 2003, Dr Gordon has been the Director of the Heart Failure Clinic at Box Hill Hospital. He also held the Clinical Directorship at Auckland Hospital for 10 years.
Dr Gordon’s current research interests include neuro-hormonal aspects of heart failure, and the non-invasive assessment of cardiac function, particularly in relation to exercise and antithrombotics in cardiovascular disease.
