Dr Haider Khan Bangash is a consultant urologist practising in Perth, Western Australia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Western Australia in 2012. Following his medical degree, he completed comprehensive urology training in Perth and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Urology in 2022. He became a full member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) in 2024.
Dr Bangash further refined his expertise by completing a fellowship at Monash Health in Melbourne where he gained experience across all aspects of urology, with a focus on major uro-oncology procedures. He subsequently undertook a high-volume fellowship at University Hospital Southampton (UHS) in the United Kingdom where he specialised in robotic surgery, including prostatectomy, partial and radical nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, pyeloplasty, and cystectomy, as well as complex open surgeries such as IVC thrombectomy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
Dr Bangash has a strong interest in managing male voiding symptoms, bladder outlet obstruction, elevated PSA, kidney stone disease, penoscrotal conditions, and vasectomy. His calm, friendliness and open communication towards his patients enables patients to feel well informed when providing excellent urological care. Dr Bangash’s focus is to ensure his patients receive the best possible outcomes throughout their treatment journey.
He is currently a consultant positions at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and Joondalup Health Campus. He is also now operating at Mount Private Hospital. Outside of work, Dr Bangash enjoys spending quality time with his family and has a passion for playing and watching a variety of sports.
