Hannah Shin graduated from the University of New South Wales and undertook a Fellowship in rehabilitation medicine through the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP). She was drawn to rehabilitation medicine from a desire to holistically maximise quality of life and functionality, above and beyond traditional models of healthcare.
Hannah has an interest in neurorehabilitation including stroke and Parkinson's disease, and geriatric rehabilitation including falls prevention and osteoporosis management. She is completing additional training in medical acupuncture with a focus in pain and movement disorders. She is enthusiastic about selecting and coordinating the most appropriate interdisciplinary care and navigating entities such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme, to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
Outside of medicine Hannah’s interests include music and her family. She is also fluent in Korean and can conduct consultations in Korean.
