Dr Homa Forotan

Dr Homa Forotan is a cardiologist committed to providing a detailed assessment of your symptoms and heart condition with a caring and compassionate approach, whilst helping you understand your symptoms and cardiac diagnosis. She treats people with a range of general cardiac issues with a special interest in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease and cardiomyopathy.

She studied Biomedical and Neuroscience at the University of Queensland and subsequently undertook her medical studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She completed her Cardiology Advance Training in Brisbane at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She is subspecialising in Multimodality Cardiac Imaging including echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.  

 Dr Homa Forotan is multilingual and passionate about improving cardiovascular health of her patients, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
