Dr Ivan Subiakto

Dr Ivan Subiakto is a cardiologist who has completed his physician and adult cardiology training at various hospitals in Melbourne. Having always had a keen passion in managing patients with arrhythmia (an abnormal heart rate and/or rhythm causing various symptoms, such as palpitations, irregular heart beat and fainting), he subsequently undertook 2 years of specialised training in pacemaker implants and electrophysiology at Austin Hospital (Melbourne) and at Vancouver Island Cardiology (Canada) where he gained expertise in performing the new Left Bundle Physiologic Pacing strategy.

Dr Ivan Subiakto graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his physician and cardiology training at leading Victorian hospitals. He advanced his subspecialty expertise in electrophysiology, pacemaker and ICD implantation at the Austin Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in Vancouver, Canada focusing on pulmonary vein isolation (AF PVI) procedures and cardiac pacing.

With the Cardiac Health Institute, Dr Subiakto performs EP and pacing procedures at the Sydney Adventist Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital. Ivan is also a VMO at Wollongong Hospital.
