Dr Hu graduated from University of Melbourne in 2014 and obtained his Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2022.
He completed his basic physician training at Monash health, followed by specialist training in Geriatric Medicine at Monash Health and Peninsula Health.
He has experience in many areas of Geriatric Medicine including Residential In-Reach, Movement Disorders Unit, Palliative care, Orthogeriatrics Perioperative Care, GEM at Home, Geriatric Evaluation and Management unit, Memory clinic, and Falls and balance clinic.
Dr Hu focuses on holistic approach in the provision of quality care, with special interests in comprehensive geriatric assessment, Parkinson’s disease, management of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), and palliative care.
Dr Hu is able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin.
