Dr John Lee

Dr John Lee is a general cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist. He believes exceptional cardiac care starts with listening and each consultation as a partnership between patient, GP and cardiologist.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne, he completed his Cardiology Advanced Training across the Royal Hobart Hospital, Peninsula Health and the Victorian Heart Hospital. He subsequently completed a Cardiac Imaging Fellowship in 2025, developing expertise in transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and cardiac CT.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Lee is passionate about medical education and regularly teaches medical students and cardiology registrars. His commitment to advancing cardiovascular medicine is reflected in international conference presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and recognition through research awards.

When not at work, Dr. Lee takes advantage of Melbourne’s outdoor lifestyle through running, and enjoys quality time at home with his family.
