Mr John Swan is an Orthopaedic Surgeon treating conditions of shoulder, forearm, hip and knee. John privately operates from Knox Private Hospital and consults from Victorian Orthopaedic Associates accommodating urgent referrals including Workcover, TAC, DVA, private and uninsured patients.

Mr John Swan completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and subsequently undertook his orthopaedic training in Victoria.  He then undertook two further fellowship training programs in shoulder and knee sports injuries, and joint replacements in France where he gained further experience in arthroscopic, robotic-assisted surgery and complex revision surgery of the shoulder and lower limbs.

Beyond his passion for orthopaedic surgery, John likes to spend time with his young family and when time permits, he pursues his hobbies of motor sport, cycling and alpine skiing.
