Dr Joshua Wong

Dr Wong graduated from Monash University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his basic and advanced physician training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital with specialist training in Cardiology. Dr Wong is currently undertaking a PhD in Heart Failure and Cardio-Oncology at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute through the University of Melbourne. His work focuses on the detection and control of heart failure risk in cancer survivors. Dr Wong was awarded a National Health Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Research Scholarship as well as the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute Bright Sparks Scholarship.

Dr Wong holds a public appointment at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is also completing a part-time fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. His specialty areas of interest include heart failure, cardio-oncology and valvular heat disease.
