Dr Lee Na Chong is a highly regarded radiation oncologist. She graduated from the University of Auckland School of Medicine, completed specialty training at Westmead and Nepean Cancer Care Centres. She gained FRANZCR fellowship and was a staff specialist at the Breast Cancer Institute, Westmead Hospital before working at SAN Integrated Cancer Care for nearly 15 years. She has been bringing her skills and wealth of experience to the patients and colleagues at Cancer Care Northern Beaches since 2023.
Her special interests include non melanomatous skin cancers, soft-tissue sarcomas (with a focus on limb- and function-preserving multimodality approaches), breast, upper and lower gastrointestinal, prostate, and bladder cancers. She also treats neurological malignancies (high-grade gliomas, brain metastases), head and neck, haematological, and palliative cases. She utilises a range of evidence-based radiotherapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, image guided, gating and adaptive radiotherapy. She is a regular participant in multidisciplinary meetings across various tumour streams and work closely with dermatologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, haematologists, palliative care teams, allied health professionals, and support services to ensure comprehensive and personalised care.
Dr Lee Na is a nationally and internationally recognised researcher, member of Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group. She is an invited speaker at national/International conference in Skin Cancers, Breast Cancer and is a Senior Clinical Lecturer affiliated with Macquarie University, University of Sydney and Australian National University School of Medicine.
