Dr Manpreet Kaur Dhawan

Dr Manpreet Kaur Dhawan is a consultant psychiatrist with extensive experience in the management of a variety of psychiatric conditions.

Dr Dhawan has completed her undergraduate medical training in India and obtained fellowship in Psychiatry from the Royal Australian and New Zealand college of Psychiatry. Dr Dhawan has extensive experience and special interests in assessment and treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, perinatal psychiatry including post -partum depression and post -partum psychosis. She has deep understanding and experience with diverse populations including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. In addition to English, Dr Dhawan is also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi facilitating effective communication with patients who speak these languages.

Dr Dhawan has experience working in both public and private settings and provides high quality psychiatric care with an emphasis on comprehensive, holistic, and collaborative treatment to help her patients achieve optimal mental health and well being.
