Dr Michael Hay

Dr Michael Hay is a general cardiologist with interests in cardiac imaging, heart failure and the management of structural and valvular heart disease.

He graduated from Monash University in 2016 and went on to complete his cardiology training in 2023 before undertaking a year fellowship in non-invasive imaging at Monash Heart, Victorian Heart Hospital. This fellowship specialises in advanced echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and advanced cardiac CT interpretation. Michael is currently completing a fellowship in cardiac MRI, which will be completed in early 2026.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and very bossy daughter. He also follows most sports, in particular supporting the Tigers in the AFL and Cowboys in the NRL.
