Dr Molly Reynolds

Neurology

Dr Molly Reynolds is a consultant neurologist with clinical expertise in Neuroimmunology, with particular focus on peripheral nervous system conditions such as Myasthenia Gravis and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). She completed her neurology advanced training in New South Wales, followed by a Neuroimmunology and Neuromuscular Fellowship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Sydney.

Her fellowship training provided intensive skill development in the diagnosis and management of complex peripheral neuroimmunological conditions, including myasthenia gravis, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and related neuromuscular disorders. A particular focus of her training was the combined neuroimmunology clinic model, which shaped her commitment to holistic, multidisciplinary care — ensuring that patients with chronic neurological disease and long-term immunosuppression are managed comprehensively, with attention to the full breadth of their medical needs.

As part of her training, Dr Reynolds has achieved neurophysiology credentialing with the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists (ANZAN), meaning she has expertise in performing both simple and complex nerve conduction studies and electromyography. This allows clinical review and diagnostic work up to occur simultaneously improving time to diagnosis for complex conditions.

Dr Reynolds maintains an active research interest in neuroimmunological disease, with a particular focus on improving early and accurate diagnosis in Guillain-Barré Syndrome, and on optimising patient outcomes with immunosuppressive therapies. She is currently involved in multiple clinical trials investigating novel treatments across myasthenia gravis, CIDP, multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN), and multiple sclerosis — reflecting her commitment to advancing the evidence base and offering patients access to emerging therapies.

Professional areas of scope:

  • Neuroimmunology, particularly peripheral disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis and CIDP and central nervous system disorders such as MS

  • Nerve Conduction studies

  • General neurology including stroke, epilepsy and headache
