Nazila Jamshidi is currently working at The Melbourne clinic in Addiction Medicine and General Medicine. She also works as a Toxicologist with Victorian Poisons Information Services and is an honorary fellow with NSW Poisons Information Centre.
Nazila was previously working at Sydney local health district (LHD) as a clinical pharmacology/Toxicology and Addiction Medicine specialist. She was previously Clinical head of Drug health services at Canterbury hospital, Sydney LHD. She has previously completed a degree in pharmacy, Masters in Toxicology and a PhD in actions of cannabinoids in the brain.
Nazila has played an active role in research and clinical trials and has publications highly commenced journals. Her current areas of research interests include demystifying urine drug screening, toxicological interactions and optimizing drug use in complex comorbid patients. She was awarded the AChAM research project prize in 2019.
