Dr Nishmi Gunasingam

Dr Nishmi Gunasingam is a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist with extensive experience in both public and private practice. She is now joining Sydney Colorectal Associates at Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Randwick, working alongside Dr Bill Bye to expand the practice's gastroenterology services.

She completed her gastroenterology training at St Vincent's Hospital and St George Hospital, Sydney, and undertook an advanced fellowship at King's College Hospital, London, developing subspecialty expertise in endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD).

Most recently, she spent five years as a consultant gastroenterologist at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, gaining invaluable experience managing complex and high-acuity patients in a regional setting. She also established Regional GI, a busy private practice servicing the Riverina. Dr Nishmi looks forward to working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care
