Dr Pam Boekel

Dr Pamela Boekel is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in all shoulder and elbow conditions, as well as general orthopaedic trauma. She performs all arthroscopic, open, arthroplasty and trauma procedures for shoulders and elbows. She is also an experienced general trauma surgeon.

After finishing medical school at Monash University in 2009, Pamela completed her Orthopaedic Training in Victoria at the start of 2022. She then completed Upper Limb subspecialty fellowships in Townsville, North Queensland, and the prestigious Wrightington Upper Limb Fellowship in the United Kingdom.

Aside from her clinical work, Pamela has a passion for teaching and has an appointment with Deakin University. She also has a keen interest in clinical research and has won awards for her research both locally and internationally.
