Dr. Patrick Pender is a Consultant Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Western Sydney and earned a Master of Internal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with honors. His postgraduate journey continued at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, where he completed his specialty in cardiology and further subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology with additional international fellowships at Manchester Foundation Trust, UK, as part of the ANZET-CSANZ Fellowship program.
Dr. Pender's practice covers all facets of Adult Cardiology, including chest pain assessment, management of complex valvular heart disease, atrial fibrillation, and preventative health in coronary artery disease. As an interventional cardiologist, he has a particular interest in acute coronary syndromes, stent platforms, intracoronary imaging, and physiology-guided Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
Dr. Pender is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes and improving quality of life through tailored, state-of-the-art cardiac care. He develops close relationships with referring GPs to deliver the best possible outcomes for his patients.
