Dr Patwinder Gill

Dr Patwinder Gill is a highly qualified and experienced surgeon with a special interest in Upper Gastrointestinal (GI), Hepatobiliary, and Bariatric (weight loss) surgery. She completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2008 and her surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she developed expertise in complex surgical care and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr Gill has undertaken three years of advanced surgical fellowships, including:

• Hepatobiliary Surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital

• Minimally Invasive Upper GI & Bariatric Surgery at Tweed Heads and John Flynn Hospitals

• Bariatric Surgery at Box Hill Hospital, a high-volume centre for weight loss surgery

Dr Gill is committed to providing personalised, high-quality surgical care with a focus on minimally invasive techniques for faster recovery and better outcomes.

Dr Gill has a special interest in bariatric surgery focusing on achieving long term improvement in quality of life and sustainable outcomes. She also has an interest in hernia surgery, including complex ventral hernias, diaphragmatic and hiatus hernia. Dr Gill is apt in common general surgical conditions such as gallstones, acid reflux, endoscopies, lipomas and ingrown toenails.
