Dr Pawan Bajaj

  Dr Pawan Bajaj is a highly qualified Medical Oncologist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is now extending his services to Gold Coast Private Hospital, while maintaining his primary private consulting base at John Flynn Hospital. He also consults at Tasman Oncology Research and holds a regular appointment at Tweed Heads Hospital.

Dr Bajaj completed his specialist Medical Oncology training in 2016 across some of Queensland's most respected institutions, including the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, and Princess Alexandra Hospital. He undertook his foundational basic physician training at Gold Coast Hospital.

With a clinical focus on biological therapies, targeted treatments, and immunotherapies, Dr Bajaj brings specialised expertise in the management of melanoma, gynaecology, colorectal, lung, genito-urinary, and breast cancers. His approach reflects a commitment to advancing cancer care through the latest evidence-based and innovative treatment modalities.

Dr Bajaj is deeply committed to oncology research and serves as Principal Investigator and co-investigator on multiple clinical trials. His involvement in clinical trials ensures that his patients have access to cutting-edge therapies and emerging treatment options at the forefront of cancer medicine.
