Dr Philip Jumeau is an Australian-trained ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in both public and private practice. Born and educated in Victoria, he completed his medical degree with honours at Monash University before undertaking specialist training in ENT surgery through major tertiary hospitals across Victoria and Tasmania.

Over a 14-year period, Dr Jumeau was the principal provider of ENT services in Cairns, Queensland, where he cared for both public and private patients. He has also contributed extensively to rural and international outreach programs, including surgical missions across remote North Queensland, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Micronesia, and the Seychelles through AusAID and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Jumeau is among Australia’s most experienced tonsil surgeons, having performed close to 10,000 tonsillectomies. His published research represents the largest single-surgeon study on tonsillectomy outcomes in the English-speaking medical literature.

Now based in Melbourne, Dr Jumeau operates through accredited private hospitals, offering streamlined, day-surgery tonsillectomy for adults and suitable adolescents via Tonsil Surgery Melbourne.
