Dr Pradeep Subramanian

Dr Pradeep Subramanian is a Sunnybank Specialist General and Laparoscopic Surgeon who maintains a broad range of current surgical skills and practices, with 20 years of Consultant, Fellow and Senior Registrar experience at various hospitals.

He has a special interest in the holistic/comprehensive management of hernias in particular, complex abdominal mesh hernias.

He has over 18 years of surgical experience in general surgical elective and emergency surgery. He is also GESA credentialed to perform Upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine with first class and a gold medalist in Pathology from the esteemed Indian Association of Pathology and Microbiology.

He trained in General Surgery in India and Australia and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery after completing his training in Perth Western Australia.

In February 2017 he joined the Toowoomba Base Hospital with a full-time appointment as Staff Specialist General Surgeon. 

Dr Pradeep has a public appointment at QE II Jubilee Hospital and is a RFDS Surgeon to Southwest Queensland. He is a public appointment at the QE II Jubilee Hospital and operates at Sunnybank Private Hospital.
