Dr Praveenan Sivabalan

Dr Praveenan (Prav) Sivabalan is a Specialist Geriatrician who has a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in Geriatric Medicine, with special interests in Community Geriatrics, Cognition and Dementia.

Dr Sivabalan is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine. He holds positions as a Geriatrician at Lady Davidson Private Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Sivabalan is involved in acute geriatric medicine, surgical liaison, subacute/rehabilitation care and community geriatrics through these roles. He currently runs the Geriatrician Outreach for General Practitioner’s service for the Lower North Shore and is also involved with the Memory Clinic at Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Sivabalan has been involved in teaching and education of medical students, basic physician trainees, Geriatric Medicine Advanced Trainees, as well as other Specialists throughout his career.
