Dr Priya Rajagopal

Dr Priya Rajagopal is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist.

She offers expertise in colposcopy, laparoscopy, and comprehensive fertility services.

Priya consults at her well-established rooms at Northpark Private Hospital, and also in Epping, Craigieburn, and Melbourne’s western suburbs. She practices privately and holds a public appointment at Northern Hospital, Epping.

After completing her specialist training at the prestigious Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (IOG) in Chennai, India, Priya moved to Melbourne where she obtained her FRANZCOG qualification following fellowship training at Eastern Health. She also holds a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine from UNSW.

Priya enjoys private practice as it enables her to provide personalised, patient centred holistic care. She provides care for women at every stage of life — from menstrual concerns in adolescence and reproductive years, to fertility challenges, and menopause. She believes in empowering women with information and choices so they can take charge of their health and wellbeing.

As part of her fertility practice, Priya offers comprehensive treatment for both female and male infertility. She is professionally associated with Monash IVF and offers ovulation induction, IVF, ICSI, IUI, and egg freezing.

At Northern Hospital, Priya leads the management of high-risk obstetrics and collaborates with colleagues across various different specialties to ensure the highest standards of care. She is also an accredited training supervisor with RANZCOG, actively involved in mentoring and teaching the next generation of specialists.

Outside of medicine, Priya enjoys the outdoors, parkrun, and training at gym. She loves cheering her son on at the tennis courts, and finds balance through reading, music, and yoga.

Other than English, Priya also speaks Hindi, Tamil and Telgu.
