Dr. Ranga Reddy Sirigiri, MBBS, MS ENT, FRACS(OHNS), Fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology (USA) is an Ear Nose Throat- Head and Neck Surgeon with special interest in Paediatric otolaryngology, Otology, and Cochlear Implant Surgery along with general otolaryngology.
Dr. Sirigiri graduated from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal in India in 2000. He was trained in post graduate ENT surgery at one of the prestigious tertiary care centres of India- Govt ENT Hospital, an exclusive ENT hospital of its kind affiliated with Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad in India.
He pursued his advanced training of Paediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, USA. one of the biggest children’s hospital catering the needs of patients from 3 different states, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa. It’s affiliated with Detroit Medical Centre and Wayne State University School of Medicine. His advanced training also involved work at Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.
Currently working in Sydney, Gosford, Dubbo and Goulburn as a VMO- ENT Surgeon, Operating at Norwest Private Hospital, SAN, Gosford Private Hospital, Brisbane Waters Private Hospital, SHPH Bowral, Dubbo Private Hospital along with Gosford Public Hospital, Dubbo Base hospital. His consulting rooms are in Norwest Medical Centre, Gosford, Dubbo and Goulburn.
Dr. Sirigiri offers full breadth of paediatric and adult ENT surgeries including but not limited to removal of tonsils, adenoids, grommets, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, functional endoscopic sinus surgery, myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, Benign thyroid gland surgery, submandibular gland excision, sublingual gland removal. Sleep surgery and Stapedectomy. He is a strong advocate of Intracapsular tonsillectomy, which has significant benefit of less post operative pain and bleeding. He is also promoting cochlear implant surgery at regional hospitals, closer to home avoiding long trips to Sydney.
Dr. Sirigiri is a member of ASOHS, CIGI, AOI, AAO-HNSF, ASPO. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer affiliated The University of Sydney School of Rural Health, having great passion and interest in education of junior staff, medical students and registrars.
