Dr Ruth-Ann Sterling is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and completed her training in major teaching hospitals in Newcastle, Sydney and London. Through her years of training, Dr Sterling gained the knowledge and skills to manage women through all stages of life and aim to give wholistic and compassionate care. She has been serving the women of Sydney southwest for the many years now and operates at Sydney Southwest Private and Norwest Private Hospitals. Dr Ruth-Ann Sterling also holds a public appointment at Liverpool hospital in Obstetrics and Gynaecology where she is the coordinator of specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Sterling has a broad knowledge of all aspects within gynaecology and can offer a range of diagnostic and treatment services for women of all ages. She is passionate about providing up-to-date medical care, including minimally invasive surgical options and prides herself on her easy-going and friendly nature. She is extremely compassionate towards her patients and is always an advocate for their needs and wishes.
