Dr da Assuncao has extensive experience in reconstruction and replacement in the lower limb as well as trauma reconstruction in both upper and lower limb. He has performed over 2000 joint replacements and over 3000 trauma surgeries. Dr da Assuncao had super-specialist fellowship training in hip and knee surgery at world renowned centres in Oxford, UK and Sydney, Australia as well as advanced and extensive fellowship training in major trauma centres in Seattle, USA and Perth and Sydney.
