Dr Saman Alehossein

Dr Saman Alehossein is a Consultant Psychiatrist who obtained his medical degree from Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2016 and completed his specialist training in psychiatry in Brisbane. Dr Alehossein has worked across a variety of mental health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, and ADHD, including research in this area. He has additional experience in older adult psychiatry and in the treatment of eating disorders. He takes a thoughtful, holistic, and collaborative approach to care, and aims to provide a relaxed and approachable environment, working with people to develop practical strategies to better understand and manage their mental health.
