Dr Samina Ahmed is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years’ expertise in women’s health. She offers comprehensive care from adolescence through to menopause and beyond. Based in North West Melbourne, Dr Ahmed is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care in a professional, supportive, and informative manner. Her extensive experience and commitment to women’s health ensure compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique journey.

With a passion for reproductive health, Dr Ahmed holds a Master’s in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), enabling her to specialise further in fertility treatment. As a Fertility Specialist, she provides advanced sub-specialty care to women facing conception challenges. Dr Ahmed will support you through assessment and recommend appropriate treatment options to help achieve a healthy pregnancy. She holds specialist appointments at Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s Hospital and St Vincent’s Werribee as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She also holds memberships in prestigious professional bodies, including RANZCOG, Australian Gynaecologist and Endoscopy Society (AGES), The Australian Fertility Society of Australia and NZ(FSANZ), and Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP). She strongly advocates young doctors’ training in her roles as RANZCOG Training Supervisor and Senior Clinical Lecturer at Deakin University.
