A/Prof Saurabh Kumar

A/Prof Saurabh Kumar is a leading Cardiac Electrophysiologist in Sydney, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), ventricular tachycardia (VT), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and complex heart rhythm disorders.

Australian and Harvard-trained, he has over 15 years of experience and is recognised internationally for his expertise in advanced catheter ablation and cardiac device therapy. He is among Sydney’s highest-volume electrophysiologists, performing more than 400 complex catheter ablation procedures each year, including AF, VT and PVC ablation, as well as pacemaker, defibrillator and loop recorder implantation.

A/Prof Kumar uses state-of-the-art technologies, including fluoroless procedures, radiofrequency and pulsed field ablation, to deliver cutting-edge, evidence-based arrhythmia care.

He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, a Principal Investigator at the Westmead Applied Research Centre, and has authored 300+ peer-reviewed publications in leading international cardiology journals.
