Dr Stephanie Chetrit

Dr Stephanie Chetrit is an experienced general surgeon with a special interest in colorectal surgery. Her clinical interests include the laparoscopic management of colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and pelvic floor disorders such as incontinence and obstructive defecation. She also performs a broad range of general and acute care surgical procedures, which includes hernia repairs and gall bladder surgery.

Dr Chetrit completed her surgical training locally and commenced practice as a general surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital. She subsequently undertook two years of advanced overseas training in colorectal surgery, further strengthening her expertise in this field.

Dr Chetrit is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on compassion, dignity, and clear communication. She currently operates at Mount Private Hospital.
