Dr Taina Lee is a General, Dialysis access and Transplant Surgeon at Westmead Public Hospital and Norwest Private Hospitals. She is a Medical Graduate of UNSW and completed her General Surgical training through Westmead Public Hospital in Western Sydney. She was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019.
During her surgical training she also completed a Masters in Surgery with the University of Sydney. Post-fellowship, Dr Lee completed 2 years of training in Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation through the Post Fellowship Education and Training Program with General Surgeons Australia at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Westmead Public Hospital.
Dr Lee is a Clinical Lecturer in Surgery at the University Of Sydney Medical School and is an accredited instructor for courses run by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for surgical trainees. She is a member of specialty societies including Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand and General Surgeons Australia.
She is well experienced in General Surgery including Cholecystectomy and Hernia repair. She also has a special interest in Dialysis access surgery including Arteriovenous Fistulas and Laparoscopic placement of Peritoneal Dialysis Catheters.
In addition to English, Dr Lee also speaks Korean.
