Dr Tharanga Kularatne

Dr. Kularatne is a specialist in adult and youth psychiatry, with a particular focus on trauma related mental health issues and pervasive developmental disorders. She completed her fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2018 and subsequently joined Monash Health as a specialist following her training there.

Her extensive experience spans both the private and public healthcare systems, and she is currently affiliated with The Alfred and The Victoria Clinic (TVC). Dr. Kularatne has a profound interest in youth psychiatry and is a dedicated advocate for altering the life trajectories of young individuals with mental health challenges.

She employs a holistic approach to treatment that integrates medication, psychotherapy, and advocacy, ensuring comprehensive support for her patients and their caregivers.
