Dr Theepan Balasubramaniam is an Orthopaedic Surgeon treating conditions/injuries/trauma of the foot, ankle hip and knee.  Theepan regularly operates from Knox Private Hospital and consults from Victorian Orthopaedic Associates and accommodates urgent referrals including Workcover, TAC, DVA, private and uninsured patients.

Dr Balasubramaniam completed a Masters in Sports Medicine whilst undertaking his medical degree. Following acceptance onto the Australian Orthopaedic Association Training Program he completed his advanced training throughout someone of the region’s busiest hospitals going on to spend a year travelling through North America further honing his surgical skills whilst being appointed a lecturer at Dalhousie University.  He completed a foot and ankle fellowship under the supervision of internationally acclaimed surgeon Professor Mark Glazebrook, focusing on sports injuries, deformity correction and ankle Replacement.
