Dr William Chung graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and undertook his internship and basic physician training at Austin Health in Melbourne. His specialist training was completed at Austin Health and Monash Health. He then undertook a prestigious Senior Clinical Fellowship in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the Royal Free Hospital in London, United Kingdom (2019-2020). He is currently working as a consultant specialist at Austin Health and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr Chung is currently a PhD candidate at Austin Hospital/University of Melbourne, aiming to develop a novel biomarker panel to help monitor and detect liver cancer recurrence after treatment.
