Dr Yeung-Ae Park is an endocrinologist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedicine (First Class Honours) and a Doctor of Medicine (First Class Honours) from the University of Melbourne. Dr Park completed her endocrinology specialty training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Eastern Health, and Monash Health/Hudson Institute of Medical Research, where she also undertook an andrology fellowship. She further pursued academic training in clinical research through Harvard Medical School.
She is the recipient of several prestigious academic awards, including the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Scholarship and the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH)-Track Scholarship. Her research has been presented at national and international conferences and featured in the US Endocrine Society Thematic Issues. She is actively involved in research in pituitary tumours, including prolactinomas and gonadotroph adenomas, through her PhD work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the University of Melbourne.
Dr Park is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across all areas of endocrinology, including diabetes, weight management, pituitary, adrenal and thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and reproductive endocrinology. She serves on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Australian Pituitary Foundation, and is fluent in English and Korean.
