Dr Edwina Wing-Lun

Dr Edwina Wing-Lun is an Interventional and General Cardiologist at Darwin Private Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital. She is involved in complex congenital heart disease services for the Northern Territory, research projects, mentoring junior doctors; she has set up retrospective and prospective databases and has now embarked on a PhD on Coronary Artery Disease in the Top End via scholarship with the University of Sydney. 

Dr Wing-Lun works with the Heart Foundation on a number on local and national issues, including women’s cardiac disease and equity.  She has been an invited speaker at multiple local, national and international meetings.

Edwina grew up in NSW, received her Bachelor of Science (adv) and and Medical degree with honours from Sydney University, NSW.  She completed her cardiology training through the St Vincent’s network and sought the opportunity to work in rural and remote areas such as Alice Springs, Kintore, Wagga Wagga and Condoblin.  She moved to Darwin with her family in early 2018.
